Mr. Yang has a diverse practice counseling clients in obtaining, evaluating, and enforcing intellectual property. Over the years, he has developed extensive expertise in preparing and prosecuting patent applications broadly across technical areas of electrical and computer engineering and software, as well as for mechanical and electromechanical devices and processes. A representative list of his technical experience includes wearable computing devices, wireless communications (including cellular networks and protocols and RF systems), graphical user interfaces and application programming interfaces, database management, Big Data applications, Internet of Things, autonomous vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles, robotics, optical technology (such as optical sensors, imaging systems, and touch panels), medical devices and prostheses, surgical navigation systems, graphic arts and printing technology, semiconductor design and manufacturing, biomedical sensors, display technology, industrial packaging machines and strapping tools, power systems, and a variety of consumer products.
